Creative scheduling and digital engineering drive rapid results

Digital Engineering | Project Delivery

Hornsby Heights treatment plant’s secondary treatment process was struggling to meet the demands of a growing population, especially during wet weather, and an additional clarifier was sorely required.

It was crucial that delivery, from business case to handover, be fast-tracked in order for Sydney Water to meet its EPA obligations and avoid licence non-compliance.

We worked with the procurement, delivery & O&M teams to develop a fast-track procurement strategy and technical delivery plan that allowed this $15M project move from business case development to on-budget and on-schedule completion in just 18 months.

“They’re outstanding engineers and guys that really embody what this entire operation and business is all about and know what it takes to do a good job and service us effectively. They’re always thinking outside the box and how to do better.
